Established in 2010, Shrinath Alakananda Mahavidyalay, Bhuvarpur, Anauni, Saidpur, Ghazipur (U.P.), was founded with the vision of providing higher education to rural students and nurturing them into responsible citizens of the nation. The college was strategically established in an area where access to higher education was previously limited. Situated on the Sidhauna-Mehnajpur Road, the institution is developed over several acres of lush campus and is affiliated with Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur.

The college has consistently achieved remarkable success, fostering not only academic excellence but also promoting co-curricular and extracurricular activities among students. A strong tradition of fair, transparent, and disciplined examinations is maintained, ensuring a learning environment free from malpractices. Faculty members are dedicated and vigilant, ensuring that no form of discrimination occurs on campus.

The campus is completely ragging-free, and cleanliness, greenery, and sustainability are actively encouraged by the Principal, faculty, and staff. Students participate in regular cleanliness drives, tree plantation initiatives, and community service activities. Rural girls enrolled in the college have been rapidly progressing, making significant contributions in various fields, highlighting the crucial role of higher education in empowering women from rural areas.

The college follows a policy of minimal fees and maximum facilities, ensuring uninterrupted access to quality education. Facilities include a well-stocked library, reading room, and book bank. Additionally, students actively participate in sports training, National Service Scheme (NSS), Rover and Ranger programs, and other co-curricular activities. Cultural events, annual functions, and motivational programs provide opportunities for student engagement and holistic development.
